Care & Service
Preserving Precision, Heritage & Timeless Performance
A fine timepiece is an intricate piece of engineering designed to endure across generations. With thoughtful everyday care and certified routine servicing, your watch will maintain its aesthetic beauty, water resistance, and chronometric accuracy.
1. Water Resistance & Seals
Always ensure the crown is firmly pushed in or screwed down before exposure to water. Have gaskets inspected and pressure-tested annually at our atelier.
2. Magnetic Field Protection
Avoid placing mechanical watches directly on audio speakers, laptops, or magnetic clasp bags. Exposure to strong magnets can alter timekeeping accuracy.
3. Cleaning & Wear
Wipe sapphire crystals and stainless steel cases with a soft microfibre cloth. Metal bracelets benefit from periodic ultrasonic cleaning to remove accumulated dust.
4. Periodic Overhaul
Mechanical timepieces require movement disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and timing calibration every 3 to 5 years. Quartz batteries should be changed promptly when drained.
